Product Description
Rabbit polyclonal antibody to Cyp11B2 is a member of the cytochrome P450 superfamily of enzymes. It is involved in substrate recognition, conversion and catalyzes the conversion of 11- deoxycorticosterone to aldosterone. This is done by corticosterone and 18- hydroxycorticosterone. Genetic variation in CYP11B2. As a result, they are the cause of corticosterone methyloxidase type 1 deficiency.
